A Switzerland-based team worked with Hengliyuan on tabletop sweetener prototypes for coffee, matcha and tea. The project moved from a formulation brief to prototype documents and sample dispatch.
The buyer’s question
The development team wanted to compare several sweetener formulations for coffee, matcha and tea. The brief separated sweetness from aftertaste, cooling sensation, mouthfeel and dissolution, and asked about prototype documents, shipping and future packaging. The sweetness comparison target was clarified during the exchange rather than assumed from the phrase “sugar replacement”.
The approach agreed with the buyer
Hengliyuan developed the initial prototypes and sent the corresponding COA, SDS and sample photographs. The buyer acknowledged those files and chose to receive the completed prototypes first rather than wait for an additional formulation direction. Sample identity, document scope and transport arrangements were handled as separate steps.
Sample dispatch and the next step
Hengliyuan dispatched the prototypes, and the buyer acknowledged the shipping update. The buyer had already received the COA, SDS and prototype photos. The next step was to try the selected formulations in the intended drinks and share feedback.
